I dunno if the fact that this perticular station features nine monitors is really that much a hint on the total number of stations, maybe its simply nine monitors which can display several cameras/stations at a time and the interior designer of the station just thought it would be nice to have nine Monitors?
But even if there are nine stations what does it tell us about find815? Pretty much nothing id say...
Like cldx, i belive, it can can show several feed for each station, like Swan, fire and another one (we dont not know, maybe the hidra or the Arrow, but the equipament was damged, we can only supose!
I thought the same at the time but i don't think it would be in the game, how many where on the blast door map and didn't they say, i think somewhere on darkufo that theres more to the blast door map including other stations that we haven't seen yet
Based on the logic, wouldn't there be 10 stations then? This one monitoring 9 others? I think, since we saw other monitors in the system (namely when Ben allowed Jack to see Sawyer and Kate)viewing different places other than the stations, I'll go with the Pearl just having 9 monitors.
its not necessarsarily related to the game, as i outlined above, i was asked to post this by someine so i did. and to be honest, i didnt see it in the show....the numbers i mean
No it wasn't really. It was just a scene taken out of the show. It's the Pearl tape and we've seen it before. It does not relate to the game in any way and even if it is a "clue", we already knew it from since John and Eko found this station.
If you remember how this "clue" was displayed in chapter one, you will remember that other items also displayed scenes from the series (for example after finding the Driveshaft CD, you got some scenes of Charlie onstage, also taken from the show).
I'm sorry, but this seriously does not relate at all.
I thought there was a video clip in one of the season 2 episodes that already established how many stations there were - Marvin Candle (or one of his clones) listed them didn't he?
The number of stations may not be relevant, but the fact that the clue pictures have numbers on them may be... I don't know, seems like they could have found some pearl station images that didn't have numbers... and the numbers in the image seem to jump out at you...
Based on the Orientation film, there are 6 official stations. These are relevant to Valencetti research (refer to Radzinsky's scribblings on the Invisible Map).
There were other stations; A seventh that was abandoned (refer to the map again). The eighth was for we know so far a ruse. It was boarded up when Michael was brought to the Others. The ninth is the Hydra. The tenth is the Looking Glass.
There's also the radio tower, could be an eleventh.

How does this help?
Forgive my stupidity
it is someones observation that there may be 9 stations, not really applicable but interesting
probably, since we have discovered more than 6 stations

I agree but it was an idea that was being bounced around so it should be posted
but we've already seen this on the show, how is it relevent to the game at all

this post is in the game section because it was a clue in the chapter one clue hunt game!!!

All of the logos are of the Pearl station.
If these were different stations, shouldn't they have different logos?
I agree not relevant to Find815
AND

6 I recall.
Marvin Candle did say 6 if i remeber correctly, but we've seen more than 6 stations...
Swan
Pearl
Arrow
Staff
Hydra
Looking glass
Orchid
I never really counted the Arrow as a station. After all, it was described as a storage facility.
