Introduction to Find 815

"For Sam Thomas, times have never been so tough. His partner, Sonya, was a flight attendant aboard missing Oceanic Flight 815. Sam, a talented IT technician for Oceanic Airlines, is determined to find out what happened. But Oceanic would rather be ‘flying again’. They have abandoned the official search for Flight 815. Sam is distraught, afraid he will never have answers. But then he receives a strange email... Sam has followed the mysterious message from the Maxwell Group to Jakarta and has located the Christiane I. It is just about to embark on an expedition to an undisclosed location. But getting on board might not be as easy as Sam thinks... Sam's desire to leave the Christiane I at the next port comes across an unexpected obstacle, leaving him curious about the identity of Talbot’s employers. Sam's attempt to outwit Talbot and pinpoint the exact position of the coordinates brings unexpected results. Google Maps Overlay Of Clue Hunt Chart Plotter

DarkUFO reader, Pink, overlayed last night's chart plotter game map with a satellite map from Google Maps (or Earth, but I'm assuming it was one of the two.) The positioning of the cooridinates are similar to the dots we saw in this week's first chart plotter game after it was altered.

OMF has a photo up on flickr

Thanks DarkUFO readers Jay and Matt who alerted me that OurMutualFriend42, or "OMF" as she is more commonly known as, has posted a picture of herself up on flickr. I took a look at the photo and noticed that not only was OMF superimposed over the big dipper, but that the picture was tagged with (in the following order):

find815, find, 815, perfect, silence, big, dipper, ourmutualfriend42, our, mutual, friend, 42, walt, whitman, shimmr, shimmer

Also, is there any significance in the characters that appear on her bag strap?: < D H O P W DB +8 (I'm not sure if that's an "O" or a zero btw)

UPDATE 3:45 GMT: It seems there are some other interesting photos in OMF's Photostream. The portrait is labeled as Walt Whitman's... he's the one who wrote the poem that the braille clue led to.

Real Life connections Lost, Amelia Earheart, Find815

A Canadian production company next year will shoot on Oahu The Story of Amelia Earhart biopic starring Academy Award-winning actor Hilary Swank. The film is produced by Toronto-based Don Carmody and directed by Philip Noyce who scouted locations here in October. The feature film will shoot in Toronto for eight weeks possibly beginning in February, followed by two weeks each in Nova Scotia and Hawaii. Ron Bass wrote the screenplay. The famed American pilot went missing over the Pacific in 1937 while attempting to fly solo around the globe. Director Noyce said he cast Swank as Earhart in part because the resemblance is remarkable. “It’s happening,” Swank said in a recent interview. “I start doing my research in January. It’s my next project.” The script reportedly does not offer any solutions to the mystery of the aviator’s disappearance. Swank said the writer’s strike may delay the start date since the script is not completely finished. Expect more casting news in the next month…

I found this when I goggled Ministry of Truth. On wikpedia site it says the following...

The Ministry of Truth (or Minitrue, in Newspeak) is one of the four ministries that govern Oceania in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. As with the other Ministries in the novel, the Ministry of Truth actually does the opposite of what its name implies, being responsible for the falsification of historical events; and yet is aptly named in a deeper sense, in that it created/manufactured "truth" in the newspeak sense of the word.

The Ministry of Truth is involved with news, entertainment and the fine arts. Its purpose is to rewrite history and change the facts to fit party doctrine, for propaganda effect. So we've seen the Sunda trench info page with a diagram of the trench, a man's picture and a diagram, right?

As you may have known, the man is James Maxwell. Nothing new here. BUT I find out that the diagram is a diagram of a slave ship, here's the original pic:

Nothing major, but I took a look at Sam's facebook picture and saw something that looked like lights on a plane, I adjusted the brightness to find the words Find815.

I guess this is just a pointer to tell us to look at every image in detail.

Well i start here, It began when i was searching in Google for David Massingham.
I found a link to www.LinkedId.com where a David Massingham is registered..
Well, that has nothing to mean, i think it coul be someone else.
But then i searched at www.LinkedId.com for Nathan Mayfield and Tracey Robertson. And they are registered there, too.
Both live in South Brisbane Area, Australia and studied at the Queensland University of Technology.
So i searched for Thomas Killen and he is there, too AND:
He lives in South Brisbane Area and studies at the Queensland University of Technology. So i think here is clear, that he is somehow related to Nathan and Tracey and Hoodlum.

I don`t think, that LinkedIn.com is important to us but i think it is clear now, that Thomas Killen is important to us!
P.S.: i also found a woman named Kelly at LinkedIn.com and she lives in South Brisbane Area and is a Producer of Hoodlum AND she at the Keyword "Find 815" when i searched for "Find 815" at Hoodlum.

Hoodlum are a company that have already been mentioned. They are a company who create these kind of games for companys such as ITV and ABC. Something i have noticed however is that on hoodlums site, it mentions that the CEO is a Tracey R. Now i know that could be derived as a coincidence. The other thing i noticed there site is a .com.au site, like the one on the Lost bill board. The final thing is to me there team member Thom, looks like our mystery man in Sam's diary video, what do you think?

Typo on Billboard?

Last night, while i was deep asleep, i got an email from my subscription of Sam's blog from his myspace account.
It said that Sam had published a new blog post. So, today when i saw this, I eagerly clicked on the link to see Sam's post and..... there was nothing there!!! ZERO!!!

If anyone else got this message (had to subscribe his blog) or happened to see this blog post, please, let me know!!!

Sam's Flickr photo

As is now blatantly obvious, the [purple] picture, found on flickr, that I posted before, is none other than Sam himself. Yes, his hair is much longer to the left, but the facial similarity is too large for it to be anybody else. So...how and why did Tom Killen have a picture of Sam on his flickr? Are they one and the same?
