Thanks to Paolovf for the following. Have not seen this posted as a main item yet.
I just noticed that the image of the Sunda Trench on Sam's web browsers has changed, I attached the jpeg. The legend has been removed and some minor details on the picture itself.
Seems like alot of things are changing lately!

I still think they was giving too muck info about the 2004 tsunami.. ( in the text and the image ) looks like it will have effects on the island!

I know that this thought is way out there and probably not correct and that the changes are actually the find815 staff making changes, but what if, certain activities on the island - the swan explosion, Desmond's flashes, etc could be making changes to the real world. If the island is indeed in 2004 and the outside world is 2006+ wouldn't changes in the past change the future....
Hmmmm.
So is this changing for a reason, possibly a clue?
OR
Are the people working on this game just modifying the game as they are goin along, patching up mistakes or whatever?
I think they didn't expect people to look so much into it all, but just pick up the general clues.
Now they see how obsessed with details the fans are, they are editing the mistakes, useless and wrong data and so on...
everything that happens, happens for a reason ;)
I beleive most of the changes we are seeing, this map, the manifest are just regular web site maintenece. This is pretty common to make changes like this. I agree, they took a second look and decided there was too much info there. Notice the first date, 1815, 815 in there. I thought that was interesting the first time I saw it.

So, does this mean this game takes place in the months following the crash?
As i said.. they are removind data about dates and events.. the Tsunami from 2004 and and the krakatoa event (may have some clue about the vulcan in lost )

I think it was a mistake by the people who made this. Everything that pertains to any specific date has since been removed.
They must be paying close attention to us! LOL
Well, Jin did tell Hurley that everything was going to change. Maybe he was talking about the game :o)
I also noticed that you can type in and change the web url, but i haven't found it doing anything.
Where are you guys seeing this? I still have the original image up... even after signing in.
Will someone explain why this game exhists in 2006? The Oceanic press release was dated December 28, 2007. They returned to the air December 31, 2007. Why they searched for 3 1/2 years remains to be seen. But the "real world" time is even stressed in the ABC promos and that must be key to the series as well as the game.
people believed that Sam's "real time" was Jan 2006 because of the stock market values found on the newscast at Sam's tv, but those have been changed too.... OooooooOOOOoooOOO
my personal belief at the moment is that Sam's real time is before that, that is why all the data stamps for the tsunami and stockmarket and all have been removed!
Sam must be living roughly the same timeline as the losties....
Just MHO of course....
