I posted this in the previous entry but wondered what people thought of this regarding Jacobs mythology.
I'm suprised no-one has commented on the island Sam mentions in the video diary. I had a look on Wiki and found a couple of interesting links here they are. Discuss if you want. the first link is the main link

if you scroll down to the 2nd paragraph of culture and economy it mentions that the island is the centre of the john frum cargo cult.

i was confused about this too... when i logged in, even though i had already ompleted all of last nights activities, it said "countinue story", but when i clicked it it turned back into the counter
Interesting spoiler...and interesting in light of them re-airing the season three ender which is all about mirror images...and ben saying they will kill everyone if they leave the island....
jim, if you open up the story so far thing you should be able to access the activity.. also, i'm having trouble even getting into find815 right now... i had to switch comps b/c the one i was on couldn't even run th game in low res. anyone else having trouble getting into it?
you can't even tell its 815....no bodies or anything....I hopw this isnt what they are trying to pull off as to why everyone on the plane is confirmed dead....
BTW, I'm not getting this clock. I hope is does continue after that open ending. I'm also hoping it's a glitch being there is a butt load of people on the site...
in the end, sam is at home and he watches TV, the news. the spekear announces that 815 has been found and everbody is dead. then an interview with Talbot appears.
I completed the game by doing an hourglass shape, by going up first, and ending quite close to the start.
The ending wasn't a surprise to any of us...but I'm still wondering why people aren't curious that the Sydney-LA flight went northwest instead of northeast :)
Has anyone else noticed that the writing in the manifest has changed? It appears as if about half of each letter has vanished - - the writing has not been this faint previously . . .

Yes, that's right.
I think it was released by a script and they forgot to change the date and time in it. They've changed only the site's countdown.

Followers of John Frum built symbolic landing strips to encourage American aeroplanes to land and bring them "cargo".
Maybe this is the air strip Kate and Sawyer were helping to build?
Another connection is that the followers believe John Frum will come back on a February the 15th. 2/15 - two of the numbers.

Anybody read anything into Talbots comments in the news interview?
I thought at the beginning of this game we'd find the 815 crash, though now that it's over, I'm not 100% convinced we have.
