The Maxwell Group Picture

Well after extive searching i have found a few things about this maxwell pic. 1st it's nothing to do with the broach from s03e08, because the broach there isn't a snake eating it's on tail as pre-suggested, but, that is only a minor detail about the actual show. so, i had a look at the details with the actual picture and found this (as seen on the second pic) . As u can see if u click to zoom in that there is an expire date on the pic for 0:58:56 UCT (GMT) it's an hour later on mine cause i'm in france and hence i'm GMT+1

To me it looks like two snakes, one eating the other!

Neither the Maxwell logo or Hawking's pin is a uroborus (sp?), but the Maxwell snake is a spiral of a snake. The head of the Maxwell logo snake does resemble the pin Hawking is wearing. Going by the darkened image on this site anyway.

I think I missed something- Where is the Maxwell logo snake?

If you go to the beginning of the posts for this part of Dark's site (a couple of pages back), someone has taken the logo and discovered a watermark (for lack of a better term) of a snake with in it. They've made it darker so it's easier to see. I was just looking at it again and the head of the 'snake' does look like the head on Mrs. Hawking's pin.

Man, I have been looking for a good shot of that all day. Great job and thanks.

Does this mean that the photos they post will only stay there a certain amount of time?? That puts a little spin on things....

if that counter is GMT +1.. that means the site will be down in 20 min????

hell! let's wait for it!

I think the expiration time was 5 min ago, and everything looks normal on the site.

Did anyone notice the mirrored East West on the compass?
It looks like it was done on purpose since the text isn't mirrored just the placement. The only place on the globe where E is west would be between the South pole and the magnetic south pole(fits the lost plot) or between the North pole and magnetic north pole. Thoughts?

I think thats a brilliant observation. You're right, the text isn't mirrored, but the placement is. It seems very intentional, but what it means exactly, i have no clue. ALSO, on the Find815.com site, there were dates and distances mentioned regarding catastrophic events that happened near the trench: 1815(yr), 1883(yr), 5,000(km). Coordinates? Something else? Any ideas?
