An ad on this website (presumably generated by the ad software installed on this page based on keywords) just let us in on the fact that Oceanic would be announcing something Thursday evening on after Lost (and during ABC's new show Eli Stone.)
Any speculation as to what may be coming in this announcement? Use the comments to discuss.

haha disregard my email i just sent you....i was sending you the screencap of the banner as well... :)
maybe this has to do with a potential "chapter 6" or wrap up to the game...!?
I bet it has to do with the login for TMG
"Oceanic Air is sorry to announce that anyone picking up passengers on flights coming from Sydney to Los Angeles may be in for a slight delay."
Still won't get me to watch a show that the hook is George Michael singing in your apartment.
My guess is that they find the fake/real/whatever you believe, plane wreckage in this chapter. And then the special announcement is that they have found it. But that's just my guess =/ Hopefully someone will upload it so we dont all have to eatch Eli Stone, lol.
Whats up with the scary face in the background of the banner?
Well i suppose i can use my DVR to just skip the show and only watch the commercials... but that just seems wrong.
I'm with you, Silent Impression. I'd love it if someone uploaded the vid seeing as I don't know whether us Aussies will be getting the same announcement...
Unless it is going to be shown after the Lost Season 4 premier which is on the 7th of Feb.
yes. Oceanic will make an announcement that the "plane" has been found, and will release to the world that through no fault of oceanic, the plane crashed. This frees Oceanic from any negative publicity or conspiracy theories by the outside world, and allows Oceanic to regain its flight operations without scrutiny. This will be the single act that puts Oceanic back into motion for being able to resume flights. However we will find out that sam has been played and has not found what he has been looking for. The way in which sam was manipulated to find the "wreckage" gives Oceanic plausibility and seperates Oceanic from the "alibi" of how the "fake" wreckage was found. Oceanic is involved in a larger plot with the island, and this allows Oceanic to resume operations once again without scrutiny. All because of the carefully orchestrated manipulation of sam into "finding" the wreckage.
Holy cow, J. That is off the charts!
J's theory sounds right on to me. Please, anyone out there that has a Tivo/DVR please upload it, I can't even handle the promos for Eli Stone, so I can't even fathom watching a whole episode!
cheers
come on!maybe this new serie will be fun..
seems like Ally McBeal male version.. :)
whenever..I'm not American so I can't see it tomorrow even if I would..
please someone upload it!
lost is baaaaack
Sounds a little like the movie "Phenomenon". Instead of a tumor is an aneurysm.
Good trick to try to keep the Lost fanbase tuned in. They think if we watch and are somewhat intrigued by the pilot, we will continue tunning in.
I personally will wait until Friday when the Oceanic Announcement is posted here :)
I think "J" is on the right track. Though Naomi said that the plane wreck had already been found, which coming from her could of been a lie. But most probably Oceanic will announce that they have located the plane wreck, and will be starting flights again. It would be crazy if the Christine 1 is the freighter off the island and the new characters are from the ship. Poor sam, even if he finds the island I dont think sonya survived since we haven't seen her on screen or heard about her at all from the others.
What J said makes sense. What still bugs me is the timeline of all this. If we do see that annoucement in 2008 and the press release announcing Oceanic's limited resuming schedule was 12/07, Jack was flying with his golden pass sometime in 2007 (per his cell phone and the newspaper) and the crash was 2004...Where does this leave fing 815.
The last time I looked into it, and granted this was early on in the ARG, it was the frist quarter of 2006. That is what I figured using the stock quote ticker in the very first video. None of it adds up. Has anyone spent a good deal of time figuring out the timeline?
