I was thinking, what if the diamond ring was bought from Ms. Hawking - could this be Ms. Hawking using Sam off island to help DHARMA get back to the island?
Ms. Hawking played a role in getting Desmond to the island which ultimately allowed the freighter to get to the island.
Will Sam's actions help the freighter get to the point of the call?

it still says I have an unfinished activity, even though I played the "Pack Sam's bag" game and finished everything else. Does anyone know what that activity could be?
Samantha... a lot of people have had this problem. The activity is finding all the differences within Sonya's picture. Just click on "Story so Far" and go back to the first activity. When you play it again you should get the green block.
thank you! When I completed the picture clues again, the "garbled code" activity popped up automatically with instructions for completing it. It didn't lead me to that email activity previously, and now it says I've completed ch 1!
Anyone else think this is all tied in with the boat waiting off shore? Like when the season starts we'll find that Sam is on the tanker and that its owned by the maxwell group! Just a thought I've been having since the arg started.

@harpua...thats pretty much what i wrote/thought in an older post. not neccesarily that the Maxwell Group owns the freighter, but that Sam might very well be on it and appear in the show in the beginning of Season 4...if something like that actually happens itll just feel more like we found the Losties ourselves since we kind of travelled alongside Sam, lovely idea Mr.Producer, whoever came up with it, much more intense and "inside" than the first ARG...
Hmm I still need to find something before I complete it, in the story so far tab the photo section is the only one without a green box around it... even though I found all of the clues (as far as I'm aware) :(

I just tried manhattan in an angram search with no luck.
Was the name of naomis ship given in season 3? If not could it be the christiane I?
Also I'm new here so if there is a better place to post these questions any help would be appreciated!
