TMG site going to be updated? (Updated)

I just visited The Maxwell Group's website and it's empty now.
That means they are going to update it, right? What do you all think?

Update: The site is still the same. Anyway, it seems that I'm not alone. Rutger Augustus Munz from Italy also experienced the same empty page problem.

what do you mean empty? I just went on there and it looks the same, says the same thing when you try to log in. Nothing is different in my eyes?

The server is currently being serviced. It is expected to be back in service by 02/01/2008 00:08:15 UTC

maybe then?

Same as what Nick posted. OP, what changed for you?

Hi,
I write you from Italy, and yesterday I got a blank page after I tried to log in. Then I tried again, and I get the standard message error (server down and blah blah).
I think I have experienced this the same hour dragossh found the site empty today (it was 19:00/20:00). For me, something is going on...
Bye!

At the Maxwell Group our candidate pool is highly diverse. Many recruiting firms live and die by running advertisements or utilizing on-line resume databases to gather the same resumes you could receive via your own means. These candidates are invariably registered with many recruiting firms and are interviewing anywhere they can. This leads to a lack of focus and control in the recruiting process. Our depth of experience and candidate and client relationships, on the other hand, enables us to source a candidate pool not readily available to your firm or other recruiting firms.

The Maxwell Group is organized to get results. In addition to our pool of "active" candidates, we have an extensive network, which helps us source candidates who might not be actively looking but would consider listening if the right opportunity arose. We also support an ongoing research effort and maintain a database of candidates that fall into our areas of specialization, which we use to identify potential candidates on an exclusive basis for clients when they conduct a search - ensuring that you won’t just see the "same old" resumes from us.

We pre-screen each candidate before presenting a resume, ensuring that the essential criteria of both parties are met, such as skill set, level and compensation, personality and presentation, and other expectations.

We handle everything from scheduling interviews through negotiating compensation, advising you of any issues along the way. We expedite, not hinder the process.

What you need to know:

Looking for a new position is usually viewed as a welcome challenge, a necessary evil, or a process somewhere in between. Whether you are "actively" seeking a new place of employment, or you have more of a "passive" interest and want to be kept apprised of opportunities within a certain set of criteria, we can provide you with information about potential opportunities with many firms that you may be interested in.
Our staff takes the time to understand your goals, needs, skills and interests. This enables us to provide information to you regarding career direction, paths to attain your goals, and realities vs. myths of the employment market. As a candidate you are treated as an individual, not just another number or resume.

We take a logical approach to the job search process. We speak with you regarding a specific company or position before presenting your background or resume. We will thoroughly prepare you before every interview by providing background on the company, the hiring managers, position requirements, "hot buttons", growth potential and other pertinent information. This allows you to go to the interview feeling confident and focused. We expedite the process, functioning as intermediary between you and the company from start to finish, handling all scheduling, feedback and, ultimately, the negotiation of your compensation package.

Monkeyhateyou got that from www.maxwellgroup.com

notlost said...

seen that before...but interesting...are they genuine..if so how can hoodlum use their name

Anonymous said...

anyone notice the words in quotations in what monkey posted? "actively" "passive" "hot button" "active" "same old" it also repeats the intro paragraph 3 times.

and the name peter smaldone seems like it could be an anagram.

that seems like a real company, doesn't sound like they exist anymore however they are real and nothing to do with this. And to what notlost said, i think any publicity for maxwell group is good.

i still think that random dot on the left side is going to be something. other mistakes they've made in the game have been corrected. Why is that little dot there. I put it on paintbrush and zoomd in alot but there wasn't anything there i don't think

I believe Thursday's premier will give us the info to enter the website.

dragossh said...

Regarding maxwellgroup.com, remember that any site in-game is hosted on find815.com :)

Brian Leonard said...

I kinda agree with Rachel, but instead of the info being in the premiere, it will probably be in the ARG.

1Miletogo said...

I think the dot is just a dot, it is in the source code as a dot. Now maybe it is a filler where something will go later?

Anonymous said...

I also beleive we will get the final piece for that site during the premier. The authentication says it will be updated Feb 1, at 8:15, that is the day after the premier.

Love the quote Travis.

I don't know if any one noticed but the advert on the pages are for an exclusive Oceanic announcement during the Eli Stone premire, which occurs right after lost on Thursday. This announcemnt might give us some info we need for the Maxwell Group.

The only problem is that the game ends two hours before the premiere...

This doesn't make sense -- why would the game creators have two web sites so similar? Answer: they don't. Maxwell Group has owned that domain name since 1997.

I really hope that their business hasn't been impacted by some crazy inquiries!

Offcourse the site will be online after the season premiere.
If you try to login you get the server error messages that says that the server will be online on 2/1/2008.
Thats February the First.

thanks !
