Berlin Bill-Board

With the new bill-board in Miami, i thought i would discuss about what the picture depicts. In the picture itself, we see 2 things, the Berlin Dom and a statue. The name of the statue is "lion fighter", it is by Albert Wolf. There is a similar statue in Philadelphia. The statue was made in 1847 and erected in 1861. It is made of bronze and sits outside the Altes Museum, which is the oldest museum in Berlin. The statue flanks the Altes museum with another statue, The Amazon, which was created by August Kiss. Both statues as you can see are very similar except one is a male and the other, female. I dont honestly see any helpful clues myself, but as well all know with Lost clues that are not in your face obvious.

I didnt find anything relevant either, only thing that got me connected was that Albert Wolff made a couple of Horse Statuettes (Kate), but thats more likely coincedence.

The Statue is standing in front of "Altes Museum" which used to be a propaganda place for the Nazis during WW II..i made a little connection like Nazis->Strange Science->Dharma but thats just a little idea i got right there, nothing solid till now, after all it might simply be a nice picture of Berlin..

The connection between germany and nazis is not a clue, it's a prejudice.
Count that as coincidence.

I wanted to say, that the connection between the museum and the nazis is very weak. The german wikipedia has much more information about it than the english one (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altes_Museum).
The Nazis used everything for propaganda, because of that it's just a coincidence.

there are polar bears on the island, maybe there are lions, too.

Yeah, i was thinking about even mentioning it, it was just some info on Wikipedia alongside the Museum Article, like i said thats just something that popped into my head reading it. Youre absolutely right about the Nazis not being a clue, they are hot "myterious" after all. Just sharing some background on the area.

I noticed that, when the show presents the black and white (good vs. evil) references, they also present a yellow or bronze colorology. Take a look at the simplest things, like the dvd menu buttons and how they turn to yellow at navigation on the Season 2 DVD set... everything else seems like Locke's chess or backgammon game, for example. But there are subtle inklings of bronze or yellow involved in the overall mythology of Lost if you view it from the colorology aspect of it. Just another line of thinking...

When I first saw the clip of the bilboard, the first thing I thought of was the four toed statue. I was really disappointed to see five toes! :) Besides Kate's horse, I am not sure what this image or Germany has to do with lost.

maybe they are refering to the science experiments the the nazis did without the permission/knowlegde of the participants?
