I think that this will be, in some way, useful. It's the background of Sam Thomas' MySpace and shows his theories about the possible route of flight 815.
here's my information about the picture that i posted on the facebook news:
i took the background image of the myspace site and analysed it. there are two interesting thing.

first, the words in the upper left corner and the photo on the right side, it says "Art" and above is another word. the secon thing is the picture, it looks like the old walls at the end of season 2.
I don't really know if they are fake.. but this map is in Sam's room and I don't know if it was a shot from this point of view in one of the first videos..
well jj abrahms used myspace profiles in the viral marketing for cloverfield which was what made me look for this profile.
the lost ninja from the original experience is a friend so it could be official, it had info saying it was edited last on december 31st so im not sure tbh
I've watched the videos again. It seems that was not possible to take this picture without being in the room. ...anyway, even if the site is fan made, we have a good photo of Sam's thoughts about the route of the flight. And I think that equations are related to this routes. Have you noticed that 2 routes end in Antartic?
I played w/ map image in Photoshop; not a good quality image so couldn't do much with it. But, in playing with the contrast, the black square image in upper right is a photo/image. To me, looks like rock formations and they look familiar -- maybe an image from picture in hatch, or from the wall of healer Rose went to see. Hopefully we'll find good quality image of map soon -- it looks like it could show some interesting info (if it's indeed real).

There are definitely different layers to the photo.
I think the "ARTS" is probably part of the word "CHARTS".
