Okay check this out! If we assume that 020 7946 0893 is actually coordinates, not a phone number, and it's really 02.07 94.60893, then we add to it the highlighted numbers from Sam's email, which are -11.1784. Put them together we get 02.07 94.60893 -11.1784. If you enter that into this coordinate converter, http://boulter.com/gps/, you get a location around the northern part of Sundra Trench! It converts into Latitude 8.5768, Longitude 93.1863. If you put those into the Mapquest Coordinate finder, you can get a better look. It's in the Andaan Sea (similar to Abaddon), and close to Jack's Phuket!

Hey this is Dan. I just want to clarify that I saw this on another blog so I didn't do the research. Just pointing it out!
Hm... it never wants to show me the map... so are the first coordinates really in the Sunda Trench?
And judging by how the game went so far, I really doubt the writers expect us to do such advanced math and thinking...
And about the Andaman see and Abaddon... you really see a similarity in the words? But... how? There is absolutely none. Except, as hurricanebtvs pointed out, the A and the N.

Daniel, next time, read exactly what I wrote before you answer. You know, I used the definite article before the word "game", so it can only mean I meant THIS game, right? As hurricanebtvs said - so far it's been only puzzles and reading E-Mails and stuff.
And no, I haven't played TLE, but I know how it went and what people had to do, but... again... look at this game and tell me it's the same.

This is probably just an easter egg; a fun thing for people that can figure it ut, but the exact location that it gives will probably be mentioned later on anyway. Lost does stuff like that pretty often.

Anyone notice that the ring box now seems to have a ton of writing in it? Maybe its me or the weird overlay making it look that way, but could one of you photoshop people take a look?

theres overlaying on every screen we see..its just for atmosphere...i think this game does'nt go as deep as were all thinking...just treat it as a bit of fun and stop arguing guys...
This ARG is far less in depth and feels more like an internet game, whereas the last was quite detailed and tricky.
I would like to know how the converter converted "02.07 94.60893 -11.1784" into Latitude "8.5768, Longitude 93.1863." I don't know a lot about geography and maps, but I can't see how this works at all.

The problem i see with this game (and its not that i dont enjoy it), is that none of clues are there to be worked out and then lead to the next clue. This game we may have a clue however all we can do is wait for the update on Find815, there is no running around the net to find the new problem.
I thought it wasn't going to be the same as the lost experience from the start it seemed just to planned out for each week and gives you nothing to do over the weekend,however i did think there would be more to this game than there has been so far,having to wait 72 hours just for an email and a vid is not good,
maybe its just warming up?
the way i see it, they have the insentive to make it like TLE (which i didnt play) by adding the maxwell group website and the oceanic billboards, but now they just seem like such a flop and its just turned into one giant online soap opera. the only thing thats came out of this so far is the planting of the seeds with amelia earhart, and the temple.

I was looking at Penny's phone number and my friend thought we should try it in Google Earth... If you put it in as 0.2079460893 it takes you to an area that is just to the left of Sao Tome. When my friend Googled the name Sao Tome, it told us that it was Portuguese for Saint Thomas. Just thought it was interesting seeing as we're following the story of a man called Sam Thomas. Also it appears to be near to Equatorial Guinea and we thought it might have some relevence as they've been talking about Africa and such in the videos.
It's probably nothing, but thought I'd let you know anyway. :)
